Thessaloniki – the second largest city and with vibrant cultural scene, a lot of festivals and events taking place in a year. Lying on the Gulf of Thessaloniki, it is a cosmopolitan place with over three thousand years of history and consequently there are some lovely Roman ruins to see as well as some old Ottoman buildings and fantastic Byzantine churches.

Kalamata is one of the most fortunate cities in Greece, mostly thanks to its … since it is centrally situated and many of the tourist and cultural destinations. It has a large cathedral and a picturesque of old town for visitors including fort and some nice museums.

Larissa is the capital and largest city of the Thessaly region in Greece. It is the fifth-most populous city in Greece with a population of 144,651 according to the 2011 census. It is also capital of the Larissa regional unit.

Ioannina’s – setting coupled with its delightful old town that makes it a great place worth exploring. With its beautiful location on the shore of Lake Pamvotis and the old part with its minarets, fortress and ancient walls is atmospheric to feel around.

Piraeus – the ancient port now considered a separate entity. Located in the Athens Riviera, 8 kilometres southwest of Athens’ city centre, along the east coast of the Saronic Gulf.

Kalambaka itself is a pleasant if quiet place to stop by. There is a nice tenth century church to visit as well as some good restaurants and cafes. This is just a small city which is primarily visited for its incredible setting beneath the astounding Meteora pinnacles. Attractions includes its houses twenty-four monasteries perched atop of its rocky peaks. Amazing scenery of the area having a small waterfalls and old bridges as well as caves and hiking trails that makes it incredible landscape.

Corfu, an island off Greece’s northwest coast in the Ionian Sea, is defined by rugged mountains and a resort-studded shoreline. Its cultural heritage reflects years spent under Venetian, French and British rule before it was united with Greece in 1864. Corfu Town, flanked by 2 imposing Venetian fortresses, features winding medieval lanes, a French-style arcade and the grand Palace of St. Michael and St. George.

Lovely historic center, some fantastic beaches and a wealth of archaeological sites for visitors to revel in. The region of Kavala offers the visitor a wide range of choices, such as visits to tourist attractions, embrace the nature, enjoy the entertainment with food and shopping.

Rethymno – one of the best places to visit in Crete. With a combination of Venetian, Roman and Ottoman architecture which is intoxicating that is what makes wandering around the old town so magical. With its beautiful blue waters that line the waterfront and its fine beaches is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece.

Patras – Could be one of the Greek cities that never sleeps. The third largest town in Greece that owes most of its tourist development to the busy port that serves ferries to the Ionian islands and Italy.

Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its beach resorts, ancient ruins and remnants of its occupation by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. The city of Rhodes has an Old Town featuring the medieval Street of the Knights and the castle like Palace of the Grand Masters.

A great fortress jutting out into the harbor and a lively waterfront, Heraklion is the perfect place from which to visit the rest of Crete bustling slightly chaotic place, full of life that will slowly grow on you which is worth exploring with the main body of attractions that lies in the walled-part of the city and the old town.  Never miss the Palace of Knossos,  worth stopping by with lots of interesting museums that will catch your attention including the modern part of the city that is quite with nice shopping and restaurants.
